Outfit Chameleon

1. I love the idea of giving this feminine, playful skirt a little rocker edge. The flat Philip Lim's make it less obvious and literal but the Donna Karen Metallic Suede Jacket gives it that 'punch' of rock. The Saint Laurent Betty Bag may be meant to be classic but it's also contributing to the overall edginess of the outfit.

2. Sometimes when I look in my closet and just cannot find anything to wear, I like to do something completely unexpected, like taking a skirt like this and giving it a casual twist. These booties and cool sweater (both All Saints) do just that. The Rebecca Minkoff Purse provides a happy medium between the casual booties and skirt.

3. At the end of the day, what fashionista (self-professed or otherwise) doesn't like to dress up? Due to the somewhat elaborate makeup of the skirt, the simple Peplum Top by The Row and the feminine but also reserved nature of the Miu Miu Sandals provides a nice balance. The Rebecca Minkoff Necklace adds a little extra layer on top without taking away attention from the bottom.
